The awards event, held at Royal Holloway in Egham, saw the Mayor of Spelthorne, Cllr Denise Saliagopoulos, award the Mayor of Spelthorne’s Cup to the Stanwell Community Allotments volunteers, with a special mention going out to Clare Forshaw, and the individual Health & Wellbeing volunteer prize to Mel Conolly.
It was a wonderful evening celebrating the diverse volunteer led projects in both boroughs, listening to the Egham Choral choir and enjoying a celebratory drink together.
We are all very proud of the incredible work and commitment of our volunteers and very honoured to have been recognised at these awards.
