We welcomed 45 attendees aged 16+, offering a valuable opportunity for local job seekers to connect directly with employers in a welcoming and informal setting.
Participating organisations included: Hilton, Surrey Police, Mayfair Homecare, IZ Connect Recruitment, Grace Cleaning Limited and Surrey Choices. Attendees appreciated the small, relaxed environment, making it easy to engage in meaningful conversations and the chance to explore opportunities.
Notably, five attendees secured interviews as a direct result of their conversations with employers at the fair. There has been one job trial and one offer of employment – an encouraging outcome that reflects the event’s success in connecting people with real opportunities.
Everyone was friendly and helpful, I enjoyed speaking to different employers and it gave me a good opportunity to see what was available.
