Previously known as the Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon, it is back for 2026, with a fresh new look reflecting the energy, purpose and spirit of the day.
The Surrey 5 Peaks Charity Challenge is a significant adventure and a genuinely uplifting experience. The routes take you through woodland trails, open heathland and some of the most iconic viewpoints in the Surrey Hills. There are steady climbs, moments to pause and take in the landscape and a satisfying sense of progress as you move from one peak to the next.
You will not be doing this alone. Friendly marshals, regular checkpoints, and the company of fellow walkers create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. People take part at many different speeds, talking, laughing, pausing to enjoy the views and celebrating together at the finish. It feels purposeful, communal and rewarding from start to end.
“The Surrey 5 Peaks really is an adventure not to be missed. I speak from experience! Expert organisation, stunning Surrey Hills countryside, the challenge of the peaks, fresh air and the chance to meet other walkers all make the day something very special.
Sign up to support vulnerable young people and families across Surrey, you really can make a difference.”
Teresa, long-time Surrey 5 Peaks walker

Every mile you walk and every pound you raise makes a real difference for people in Surrey. For example, £50 could fund a one-to-one crisis mentoring session for a vulnerable young person like Emma.
