Thing’s are heating up at Surrey Care Trust!
This November, we’re joining with other local charities to host this year’s Charity Firewalk Challenge. This is your chance to take part in the ultimate flaming hot fundraising challenge of the year and face the heat by walking on hot coals to help vulnerable adults, children, and young people.
Whether it’s already on your bucket list or something you’ve never considered doing before, Firewalking is an exhilarating way to challenge yourself to do something different.
You can take part as an individual or as part of a group with friends of colleagues, this event is suitable for all physical abilities and will give you the opportunity to grow in confidence by doing something completely out of your comfort zone. With every step you take, and every pound you raise, you will help us continue to expand our mission to provide the community, resources, and education to those who desperately need it.
All we ask is for each fire walker to have a fundraising goal of £100. Walkers can pay this amount themselves, ask friends and family for sponsorship, or employers for matched giving – or a combination!
We will be on-hand to support you and to make sure you have a great night. You will also take part in an in depth training session led by an industry expert who will equip you with all the tools you need to complete the walk safely. They will also walk alongside you to help you through the challenge. There will be plenty of room for spectators so make sure you bring your family and friends to cheer you on.
