Steps2Work Wellbeing

If your mental health means you are struggling to find or keep employment, we may be able to help.

Steps2Work Wellbeing is a new initiative from Surrey Care Trust, funded through Surrey County Council’s and Surrey Heartland’s Mental Health Investment Fund.

Designed to improve the mental health of people experiencing unemployment, this free and unique programme combines a holistic combination of 1:1 support from experienced staff and trained volunteer mentors, and nature based therapy activities.

  • Working from community hubs in Woking, Reigate, and Stanwell, the team can:
  • Work with beneficiaries to identify their needs, aspirations and mental health challenges
  • Develop goals and next-steps for employment & positive mental health
  • Match clients with volunteer mentors who can provide long term support
  • Offer optional group nature-based therapy sessions

The service is intended to help people of working age who are struggling with their mental health and employment, especially:
