Nearly all of our beneficiaries initially come to Surrey Care Trust as having one specific need – this could be needing support with parenting, help with school or relationship issues, struggling with poor mental health, or having difficulty in finding employment.
However, the truth is more complicated, and the challenges are more difficult to overcome.
Our research (found here) shows just how interconnected people’s problems are, and how vital it is that we support people holistically. It is only by helping people to address as many of their needs as possible that we can help them to secure lasting change.
We are proud to publish our latest Impact Report, highlighting just what can be achieved when we work together.
"They give everyone a second, third, or even a fourth chance. They don't give up on people, even if they have given up on themselves."
"Now I can pay my way, I’m more independent and I’m feeling very, very good about this job. It’s changed my outlook on life completely.”
