Originally from Worcester, Dr Llewelyn has lived and worked in Surrey for over 25 years. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has specialised in research and clinical work to help people living with diabetes.
For the past 20 years, she has worked in various voluntary roles for charities in Surrey and has been a board member of the Community Foundation of Surrey since 2013, and its vice-chairman for the past five years.
In 2021, Dr Llewelyn became the eight-hundredth High Sheriff of Surrey and the tenth woman to hold the role, her theme for her year in office was Every Child Included, with the focus on education.
In March 2022, Dr Llewleyn, as High Sherriff gave all our volunteers a special award recognising their amazing contribution over the past 40 years.
