Only four today
We headed for the area by the jumping bridge today to tackle the mighty Balsam. The weather was kind to us in the morning and we made really good progress. After lunch however the temperature soared and we decided to call it a day early and take a trip upstream just shy of Broadford Bridge and back to the mooring for a slightly early finish.
There were many people using the river today , rowers, paddleboarders , swimmers, hire boats etc and the guys did a particularly good job of avoiding them all!
