Today starts this year’s 16 days of activism against domestic abuse – a worldwide call for the elimination of gender-based violence.
We play our part as many of our beneficiaries have experienced this devastating treatment which can go on to affect every facet of their future life – relationships, education, employment, mental health etc. We help to give them a voice and skills to build their confidence and move forward through our mentoring, and especially through the work at our Clarendon and Stanwell Family Centres.
