Since 2020, our Steps2Work programme in Woking has provided unique mentoring support to help young people find employment and build a sustainable future. Specifically designed to support young people aged 16-24, as well as Care Leavers, who live in the Woking area, our main goal is to help them get into employment or further education.
Our Results
Over the five years, the Steps2Work team supported almost 600 young people, of which:

This long-term, flexible support, typically 12 months, allows for continuous progress by including:
We also provide engaging and flexible activities like work experience, volunteering, and workshops. We work with young people who have a wide range of needs, including low confidence, lack of motivation, anxiety, and neurodivergence. We also help them improve poor skills, such as teamwork and communication.
None of this would be possible without the support of our partners, employers, and volunteers and we look forward to making an impact on the lives of young people.
