Being a Trustee of Surrey Care Trust

Could you help us develop our future activities? We are looking for a new Trustee to join our Board, especially someone with experience in the legal field.

Charity Trustees are the people who help to lead the charity and decide how it is run, making decisions that impact’s people’s lives and futures.

There are many benefits to volunteering as a Surrey Care Trust Trustee – you will use your talents, at the strategic level, to make a real difference to the community, have the chance to learn and develop new skills and gain valuable experience in strategy and leadership, and it will give you experience of being a non-executive director, setting a strategic vision, influencing and negotiation, and managing risk – all great for the CV!

And if that were not enough, given the breadth of our work – from families to the environment, you are bound to find an area (or areas) where you can focus your passions.

We don’t ask for much of your time, and even if you’re working, many employers will now release staff to volunteer in this way.

You can find out more about what it means to be a Surrey Care Trust Trustee here or by contacting Kathryn Davies at kathryn.davies@surreycaretrust.org.uk.

"Rather selfishly, I enjoy being part of the work the Trust does."
