Taking place on Saturday 12 September 2026, the Surrey 5 Peaks Challenge offers a choice of a 13-mile or 26-mile route through the Surrey Hills. The event brings together people from across the community who want to challenge themselves while supporting local people facing disadvantage.
Surrey Care Trust works with young people and adults who need practical support to move forward, whether through mentoring, training or opportunities to build skills for work, life and learning. Funds raised through Surrey 5 Peaks will directly support these programmes.
The Trust is encouraging individuals, families, friends and local organisations to sign up, form teams and be part of a day that combines community spirit with real impact.
The 26-mile circular walk runs from Shamley Green to Wotton and back again. The 13-mile linear walk runs from Shamley Green to Wotton, with return transit. Peaks include: Leith Hill, Holmbury Hill and Pitch Hill, plus more stunning Surrey Hills scenery.
Standard registration is £65. Minimum fundraising goal of £100 per walker, registration for Surrey 5 Peaks 2026 is now open at Surrey 5 Peaks Charity Challenge (formerly Hikeathon)
